sorry! my major is math!
Unfortunatly, is impotence, but doesnt mean happen all cases!
Search in internet and ask medical advice:)
Good luck!
I am not a doctor, I found these online. Hopefully it helps:
Apparently the answer is “e.”
* Incontinence when, during retropubic prostatectomy, the muscular valve (sphincter) that keeps urine in the bladder is damaged. Less common today, when care is taken not to injure the sphincter.
* Impotence, occurring when nerves to the penis are injured during the retropubic operation. Today’s “nerve-sparing” technique has drastically cut down on this problem.
(both from source 1)
Sterility: Radical prostatectomy cuts the connection between the testicles (where sperm are produced) and the urethra. This means that a man can no longer father a child by natural means.
(source 2)
Recent studies have suggested an increased incidence of fecal incontinence following radical perineal prostatectomy.
(source 3)
All of the conditions you mention are potential complications after a prostatectomy, usually more often with a radical prostatectomy. Like all abdomenal operations and those involving the lower abdomen, there are risks. Given the diseases which would necessitate such a surgery though, and the fact that none of the complication you mention are fatal or unmanageable, it wouldn’t be justification to refuse treatment. Sterility isn’t usually a major concern for men in the risk group, urinary incontinence and impotence are usually treatable. And fecal incontinence is very, very rare. As to answering on a higher level, it would be easier to accomplish if your question were worded a little more exactly. Then perhaps the answers would be more useful to you.
Your question is erroneous. But I’d say impotence, to answer the question.
